Empty Shelves-Paper Goods

In a visit to several big box stores from Walmart, Target, and Menards the same was evident. Consumers have hit the shelves hard. Paper goods such as Toilet Paper and Paper towels, Disinfectant Wipes, Canned food, Frozen Food. The shelves were left the shelves empty. Not just empty but barren. In discussion with store customers one person was pacing in the empty store shelf isle asking “where is the store was keeping the Toilet paper”? When he was told by the store employee that there “|wasnt any available” at that particular store the store customer just looked blankly and confused at the store employee who was trying to help. On the way to my car several store customers commented how in their lifetimes “they had never seen anything like this before”. One Store customer said ” I have only seen this in third world countries that I have visited. Not here in the US”.

In an effort to calm Americans President Trump took to the airwaves yesterday with executives in an unprecedented move from the biggest retail outlets Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens and showed unity with the business. President Trump said that these companies have jointly decided to put competitiveness aside and agreed to work together to bring CoVid-19 Tests to the US as fast as possible.
